Extremely productive and very early variety developed by Morden Experimental Farm in Manitoba, Canada to ripen during the short summers of the southern Canadian prairies. This sweet slicing tomato has wonderful disease resistance and makes a good choice for northern climates or short growing seasons (Minnesota). One of the more productive early heirlooms, it bears heavy yields of 3-4 inch, 6 oz., crimson red, slightly flattened fruit with a refreshing, zesty tomato taste. Determinate plants ripen their fruit all at once, which makes Manitoba a perfect choice for canning. Non-staking, bush-type plants are ideal for small gardens. Matures 58 - 66 days from transplant. Packet contains at least 30 seeds.
