A long-time home garden favorite, this well-named behemoth produces huge, 2 lb., firm, meaty, heart-shaped fruits with thick walls, few seeds and a mild, sweet flavor. Three pound specimens are not uncommon. Excellent table qualities, nice for stuffing or making puree and sauces. The vigorous vines produce high yields of fruits that mature late but are well worth the wait! Tolerates high humidity. Indeterminate. Matures 90 days from transplant. Packet contains at least 30 seeds.
