Bred by renowned plant breeder and author Carol Deppe by selecting from a cross between Roy’s Calais with Byron flint corn. Very early and productive with 1 to 3 ears per 5½’ stalk. Ears are 8-12” and come in solid shades of yellow, gold, orange, and red, each color having a different flavor. Any color seed can produce any of these colors. Makes delicious cornbread, Johnny cakes, and polenta. 85 days.
