The Sudduth’s Strain is considered by many to be the most delicious strain of Brandywine, obtained in 1980 from Dorris Sudduth Hill whose Tennessee family grew it for over 80 years. It is also known as the original Pink Brandywine strain. Legendary for its wonderfully rich, intense tomato flavor, the large, deep pink beefsteak fruit can grow to 2 pounds. When ripe, the fruit can have green shoulders close to the stem. More prolific than the other Brandywine strains. Indeterminate, potato leaf foliage, 90 days from transplant. Packet contains at least 30 seeds.
